Monocoque Body

The Range Rover´s strength is achieved through the high-torsion rigidity of its steel and aluminum monocoque body. The overall refinement and impressive engineering of this structure combine for exemplary driver and passenger safety. Furthermore, three tubular steel subframes keep exterior road vibration and noise to a minimum.

Steering Improvements

By stiffening the steering coupling and refining the rack, steering response is noticeably sharpened for more precise handling characteristics.

Rearview Camera

Standard on the Range Rover, the rearview camera makes it easier to navigate in reverse.
· When the "reverse" gear is engaged, the camera automatically transmits a wide-angle color image to the touchscreen.
· The view from the back of the Range Rover and its surroundings are displayed for an improved view when the vehicle is backing up.

ABS Brakes

To help prevent the wheels from locking up, the Range Rover incorporates advanced four-channel, all-terrain ABS braking to precisely monitor and respond to the braking performance of each wheel.

Emergency Brake Assist (EBA)

Emergency Brake Assist is yet another part of the Range Rover dynamic safety system. It detects when a driver is in a panic braking situation and applies full braking, bringing the Range Rover to a secure stop.

High-performance Brembo® Front Brakes

To match its upgraded engine performance, the Range Rover Supercharged model is equipped with larger-diameter front discs, mated with high-performance four-piston opposed Brembo® calipers to deliver precise control and exceptional braking abilities.

Rear Ventilated Disc Brakes

For improved braking, the rear solid discs have been replaced across all models with performance-enhancing ventilated discs.

New-generation Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) System

The Range Rover is fitted with new-generation Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) that incorporates multiple sensors to help ensure safe handling and cornering. By constantly monitoring critical functions, the system applies braking to each wheel and modulates engine power to keep you on-track.

Damper Tune Suspension

The anti-roll and damper tune suspension system on the Range Rover maintains the highest levels of roll control and body composure to deflect the effect of rough road conditions on you and your passengers.

Four-Corner Air Suspension (4CAS)

The Range Rover´s fully independent Four-Corner Air Suspension system has been dramatically improved:
· Should the Range Rover become stuck, the system automatically attempts to assist the vehicle by lifting it for additional ground clearance
· The high-output compressor provides more responsive performance when lifting and lowering

Chassis Mounting System

· To adapt to the revised powertrain options, the mounts and brackets on the Range Rover engine mounting system have been re-tuned for enhanced torque reaction for smoother power delivery, especially when towing.
· Other modifications include a redesigned gearbox cradle to further reduce interior noise.

Double-locked Doors

For added security, the Range Rover´s doors can be double-locked, disabling the interior door handles to discourage intruders from reaching inside the vehicle to gain access. Additionally, the radio-frequency keyset features rolling codes for yet another layer of security.
