Land Rover Celebrates Innovation

Here at your local Land Rover dealership, we're used to talking about the automaker's creativity and innovation.  But something we haven't talked about before is how Land Rover not only brings these elements out in their own work, but also celebrates the creativity and innovation of others.  This year, they partnered with BORN, a company dedicated to financing creative projects, to honor some of the most innovative creators and products around.  Not only that, but at the awards, Land Rover celebrated their own new creations with the first test drives of the all-new Range Rover Evoque Convertible.

The winners of this year's BORN Awards were announced last month in Courchevel, France, and the festivities included not only the test drive of the new Range Rover Evoque Convertible, but also an art exhibit by French sculptor Richard Orlinski and the release of a series of short films showcasing creative individuals. The awards honored exceptional work in the creative industries, as well as innovation and unique products. This year's winners were honored for a connected smart watch, a foundation protecting women and girls from gender based violence, wearable technology for parents, as well as a variety of art, architecture, sports equipment, and more.

It's a true testament to the commitment Land Rover has towards innovation and creation that they not only put those qualities into their own work, but take the time to honor them in others.  If you're looking to bring some unique and cutting edge design and technology into your own life, take a look at some of the BORN Award winners - or just come by Land Rover Solon to check out some of the newest and best from Land Rover, like the Range Rover Evoque or the Land Rover Discovery. Solon area drivers can come by any time to find out how to bring the creativity of Land Rover home.
