Range Rove Evoque Celebrates Milestone

The 2016 Range Rover Evoque marks the fifth year of the model's existence, and earlier this month, the compact SUV celebrated its official birthday.  It was July 4, 2011 when the very first Range Rover Evoque came off the production line at a manufacturing plant near Liverpool, and it's been a whirlwind five years since.  Over the past five years, the Range Rover Evoque has developed a reputation as the most recognizable luxury compact SUV in the world, with more than half a million of the model sold in over 180 countries.

As demand for the Range Rover Evoque has increased, Land Rover has stepped up to meet it.  The Halewood plant now boasts 24 hour production of the model, and the workforce behind it has increased to over 4,000.  The extended hours and workforce have been necessary to keep up with the demand - in 2015, the Range Rover Evoque made up one of every four Land Rover models sold worldwide.  And it's not just drivers who love it.  The Range Rover Evoque has received almost 200 awards since production began.  It also has the honor of being the most efficient offering from Land Rover, with class-leading low emissions and impressive fuel efficiency.

Given its success, it looks like the last five years are just the beginning for the Range Rover Evoque.  Here at your Land Rover dealership, we're thrilled to be bringing this incredible and successful compact SUV to local drivers.  So stop by today to see what all the fuss is about.  Our friendly staff will be happy to set you up with a test drive of a 2016 Range Rover Evoque or a 2016 Range Rover Evoque Convertible.  Akron, Canton, and Cleveland drivers can see what has made this SUV such a phenomenon here at Land Rover Solon.
