Land Rover Surprises Passengers at Invictus Games

Last month saw the Invictus Games come to Orlando.  This international sporting event features adaptive competitions for wounded or ill servicemen and servicewomen, and the 2016 games saw over 500 athletes from almost 15 countries competing in sports including wheelchair basketball, powerlifting, swimming, and more.  As a sponsor of the U.S. and UK teams and presenting sponsor of the games, Jaguar Land Rover had a chance to surprise some of the competitors with an unusual chauffeur.

Not only did the automaker provide a bespoke Range Rover Sport SVR to drive competitors and their families to the sports complex in Orlando, but the unsuspecting passengers were in for a real treat when they realized that their chauffeur was WWE star, actor, and reality TV host, John Cena.  Team US members Tino Ulli and Joshua Jablon, along with their girlfriends, had no idea they would be driven by a celebrity.  But as you can see in the hidden camera video, they were thrilled and excited when they realized who their surprise chauffeur was.

The Invictus Games are something special, and it's exciting to know that Land Rover was a part of it in even a small way.  While most of us will never be lucky enough to get a chauffeured ride from a beloved celebrity, we can get the VIP treatment in our own 2016 Land Rover Discovery or 2016 Range Rover Evoque.  Akron, Canton, and other Cleveland, OH area drivers can enjoy the ride of a lifetime, and be a part of a company supporting the incredible Invictus Games, here at Land Rover Solon.  Come visit us today to learn more about how you can be your own VIP in a new Land Rover.
