Repairable Damage

Zurich Premier Dent Coverage covers minor dents and dings on your vehicle's exterior surfaces. Repairs can be performed on dents and dings less than four inches in diameter on metal panels where the paint has not been broken and the dent can be completely repaired using the PDR process (as determined by the certified technician).

Zurich Tire and Wheel Coverage

Road hazard replacement coverage for tire and wheels.

Coverage includes:

TIRE
If your tires become damaged because of road hazards such as metal, nails, glass, debris, potholes and more, we will pay to repair or replace your damaged tires. 

WHEELS
If your wheel is also damaged due to a road hazard, and cannot seal air after the tire was repaired or replaced, we also cover the cost to repair or replace your wheel.

MOUNTING, BALANCING, VALVE STEMS AND TAXES
The cost for mounting, balancing, valve stems and taxes is also covered in conjunction with a covered repair.


Emergency Roadside Assistance

For emergency roadside assistance, you can call our toll-free number 24 hours a day. There's no need to worry about having cash on hand - you just sign and drive. 

Services include:

  • Towing: If your car won't go, our service providers will get it safely to a dealership or repair facility. 
  • Battery service: No jumper cables? No problem! If your vehicle's battery is dead, the service driver will jump-start your vehicle, or we'll provide towing assistance. 
  • Flat tire assistance: The service driver will install your spare tire for you, or provide towing services if no spare tire is available. 
  • Gas and fluid delivery: The service driver will deliver an emergency supply of fuel, oil or water at no additional cost. 
  • Lockout or frozen lock: We will provide assistance in opening frozen or locked doors.

Zurich Windshield Coverage

Provides windshield repair due to road hazard, including OEM replacement if necessary.

Why do I need to protect my windshield?

On the surface, glass appears perfectly smooth, clear and transparent. But, at a microscopic level, the surface of glass is jagged, with peaks and valleys, similar to sandpaper. This irregular surface can damage and affect your windshield in two ways:

  • Windshield damage - Peaks and valleys catch road debris causing pitting, chipping and cracking. In addition, water collects in teh valleys, depositing dirt, minerals and other material that can stain and scratch your windshield.
  • Reduced vision - Peaks create prisms where light is redirected and refracted, causing vision distortion and glare. The valleys also cause water to collect and cling to the glass, reducing wet-weather visibility. 

 

How does it work?

Zurich Shield(R) Windshield Protection is manufactured by DFI inc., and innovator in protective coatings for glass. Their patented nanotechnology, Diamon-Fusion(R), improves and protects the surface of your windshield by molecularly fusing with glass to form a hydrophobis (water repellant) barrier, applied in a two step process:

Step 1: A chemical fills in the microscopic peaks and valleys

Step 2: The bonding substrate is then capped and sealed, enhancing surface smoothness

As a result, there are far less peaks and valleys to catch road debris, distort vision, and create glare. The glass becomes much smoother, resulting in a clearer and stronger windshield.
