Engines & Performance
Powertrains
Most Range Rover and Range Rover Sport models are powered by 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 engines. The two variations for the Range Rover Sport produce 355 or 395 horsepower and deliver 369 or 406 pound-feet of torque.
While a new Range Rover produces 395 standard horsepower from a turbocharged inline-6 engine, its P530 models for the SE and Autobiography jump to 523 horsepower, thanks to a 4.4-liter V8 engine.
Plug-In Hybrids
Both the Range Rover and Range Rover sport offer plug-in hybrid powertrains that combine an electric motor with a turbocharged inline-6 engine. Each P550e plug-in hybrid delivers just over 540 horsepower and 590-pound-feet of torque.
With either the Range Rover Sport electric hybrid or the Range Rover electric hybrid, you can utilize 51 to 53 miles of all-electric range. That means you can make it all the way from Aurora to downtown Cleveland and the shores of Lake Erie without using any fuel.
Capability
Range Rover and Range Rover Sport SUVs include All-Wheel Drive and Terrain Response® with several terrain modes. Configurable Terrain Response® technology helps personalize off-road preferences throughout Cuyahoga County and Northeast Ohio, as you get capability on any terrain. All-Wheel Steering is also included for these new SUVs, which have nearly three feet of water fording capability.
A new Range Rover Sport has a maximum towing capacity of 7,700 pounds. With a new Range Rover, Chagrin Falls families can haul trailers as heavy as 8,200 pounds. Torque Vectoring by Braking and an Electronic Air Suspension are seen in the Range Rover, which has greater grip off-road with the Electronic Active Rear Locking Differential.
SV Models
Both SUVs from the Range Rover family offer SV performance models lauded for their dynamism. V8 engines are under the hood of both. The Range Rover SV generates 606 horsepower, compared to 626 horsepower in the more robust Range Rover Sport. Reaching 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds and hitting a top speed of 180 mph, the all-new Range Rover Sport SV Edition One is the fastest Range Rover model ever built.
Interior
Seating
Buy a new Range Rover in Solon for an SUV that seats five or seven passengers. A third row is optional for the Range Rover, which offers 40 inches of legroom in the first two rows. There is 36 inches of legroom in the back for three-row Range Rover models. A new Range Rover Sport seats five and has 40 inches of first-row legroom, along with 38 inches in the second row.
Cargo Space
For a roomier SUV, families from Aurora can choose a new Range Rover, which expands from 41 to 84 cubic feet of cargo space. Utilize 93 cubic feet of max cargo volume with the Long Wheelbase model for the Range Rover, which has a versatile cargo space floor. You can run errands around Cleveland and have enough space for weekend getaways beyond Northeast Ohio with the Range Rover Sport's cargo space figures of 32 and 53 cubic feet.
Cabin Features
Known for its reductive design, the new Range Rover gives Cleveland customers five color choices for graded leathers, along with fine veneers and bespoke finishes. Shared interior features for the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport include a sliding panoramic roof, perforated Windsor leather seats, 20-way heated and ventilated electric front seats, cabin lighting, and next-generation Noise Cancellation.
Remain comfortable on the way from Chagrin Falls to Cleveland with the Range Rover's standard heated ventilated rear seats that power recline. Hot stone massage seats and Power Assisted Doors create comfort and convenience. The Range Rover Sport has two-zone Climate Control, compared to standard three-zone Climate Control for the Range Rover.
Available four-zone Climate Control for the Range Rover separates controls for the driver, the person riding shotgun, and second-row passengers on each side. Cabin Air Purification Pro with PM 2.5 filtration and nanoe™X technology work to reduce allergens, odors, and bacteria in the new Range Rover, which offers a front center console refrigerator compartment. That allows you to chill drinks on a warm day in Cleveland and Northeast Ohio.
Exterior
When you buy a new Range Rover near Cleveland you have the choice of a Standard Wheelbase (118 inches) or Long Wheelbase (126 inches) configuration. During the latest redesign, the Range Rover Sport lengthened its wheelbase to 118 inches and introduced an uninterrupted taillight.
Each Range Rover model has a standard ground clearance of nine inches. Off-road ground clearance is 12 inches for the Range Rover. That figure is 11 inches for the Range Rover Sport, a mid-size performance SUV. Shared exterior features include privacy glass, LED headlights with signature DRL, 21-inch alloy wheels, and optional Pixel LED headlights.
Technology
Next generation Pivi Pro is the most intuitive system in any Range Rover model to date. The Pivi Pro 13.1-inch touchscreens in each SUV keep you connected on the way home to Chagrin Falls. A Meridian™ Sound System and wireless Apple CarPlay® and wireless Android Auto™ integration are shared tech features.
Wireless device charging and an Interactive Driver Display are seen on the new Range Rover Sport, available in Solon. Inside the new Range Rover is Rear Seat Entertainment with 11.4 to 13.1-inch screens. Passengers can take control on the way to Cleveland events with a touchscreen controller, found in the armrest of Executive Class rear seats.
Safety
Keep your eyes focused on traffic during Cleveland rush hour with the head-up display projecting information onto the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport's windshield. The Range Rover offers an optional ClearSight interior rear view mirror. Notable shared safety features include:
